Lisa’s background is as a Biomedical Scientist in Haematology, with her professional experience going back more than 20 years. Lisa joined the organisation as a trainee Biomedical Scientist initially with the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Lisa then moved to Arrowe Park Hospital and returned to The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals Trust in 2008 as Coagulation Laboratory Manager. Her managerial role subsequently expanded to include the services of Haematology and cross-site management of Haematology.
Currently, Lisa manages a diverse range of departments and has led on a number of significant laboratory projects within the Trust and LCL. She is passionate about enhancing the service for all users and staff of LCL and is dedicated and committed to improving training and education for all across LCL and the Biomedical Sciences Professions.
Lisa is a member of the Merseyside IBMS Branch Committee in addition to being an advocate for equality and diversity within the LCL and the Trust.
